Hi Everyone!  It's Monday again and time for a new Sketch!  It's Beth here today with a scrapbook page sketch that I hope you will enjoy.  

Use the sketch above to make your page, and as an added challenge, find some fun frames to go around your photos. You can use the search feature in both your stamps and embellishments to find all sorts of fun frames from elegant flourishes to hand drawn outlines. I bet you have more frames than you think :) 

Type "frame" into your search bar.  Try it in both stamps as well as embellishments. Check out what the design team has come up with, then show us what you can do!

MDSM Top Picks for Challenge #27!

I absolutely love how Cybill took the one big splatter and made it even bigger to use for the shape portion of this sketch. I also like her variety of embellishments of the little group of "flags"... The mixture of flag, curly-q's and washi tape is perfect. Congrats, Cybil. ~Joan

MDSM28 .. Let's Embellish!!

Hi there! Tara here as your hostess for this week's card sketch.

I love layers, plain and simple.  I love them in traditional papercrafting, and I definitely love them in digital designing too. Whether it is a whole bunch of different designer papers, or loads of embellishments, I just love to pile 'em on!

So this week, as an added challenge to the sketch, I'm wondering if you'll entertain me and make a fun 'embellishment cluster' on your project. Don't feel like you have to use the same ones as the sketch, just add in all your favourites. If you don't want to make an embellishment cluster, then feel free to replace that section with another element of your choice.

MDSM26 We're editing a Punch Shape!

Hi Everyone, Time for another MDS Monday card sketch.  I was flipping through the Stampin' Up! catalog, and I found a fun layout that would work for a card or photo page on page 125.  Did you recognize it?  You can choose to use a stamp brush image or photo(s) for your focal point - up to you! 

To steepen the learning curve a bit, I'm going to challenge you to try the "edit punch shape" technique.  The lower right punch shape was created from Chevron punch #5.  Here is a video to show you what I mean and how to do this.

You don't have to stick with the suggested punch shapes.  Go crazy!  Get creative!  I can't wait to see what you make!!
