Hi Everyone, It's Heidi, and it's my turn to host today's challenge, a card sketch challenge. Let's add a technique this week. How about giving the stamp color tool a try? The link to the video tutorial can be found under Video's/How To's, called Stamp Image Coloring. Here's the basic sketch.
Hi Everyone! Welcome back to MDS Monday! It's Beth here with my first sketch challenge!! I hope you like it. This sketch is a great way to showcase your favorite photo in the extra large photo box, then add smaller photos and some journaling underneath. Find some fun ways to attach your photos this month. Look through your embellishments for fun clips, staples, stitching, tags, pins, digi tape, whatever you have to attach your smaller photos to your page! Can't wait to see what you come up with!
I had to choose Wendie's page. Not only did she use really fun details and embellishments, but also is on of my favourite subjects - biking! Love that she used the race graphic as well. Great job! ~Heidi
I like how Anita utilized a 3-part frame to include more photos in the sketch and I absolutely love how she used the opacity tool to create different layers of background. The addition of the stitching encircling the information about the page is a perfect touch too. ~Joan
Jonia made a really pretty page and nailed the monochromatic elements with the background matching the tutu. The pictures are precious and the pinwheels are great for dancing ballerinas. Great page. ~Beth
I bet you are wondering what we're doing here with a new sketch when it's only been a week since the last one.. We'll Surprise!!! We are starting a new sketch every week here at MDS Monday and the best part is each sketch will run for two weeks. That means you'll have plenty of time to play along with all the sketches!
We'll be rotating in Card Sketches that you can use to create a Card or use the sketch and create a Scrap Page or other project using MDS.. This be a great way to showcase all the different projects you can use MDS for!
to MDS Monday! It's Rochelle here with a new sketch and challenge for
you. Make a page using the sketch below and monochromatic colors.(Definition: Monochromatic colors are all the colors (tints, tones, and shades) of a single hue.)
I love how Amber changed up the circle image in the background and used a square shape instead. Thinking outside the box! And really who can resist piglets? The colors match perfectly with the photo and the extra elements add so much to the page. ~Holly
There are so many great pages this challenge!! Hard to choose. My pick is Diane because of the way she colored behind the flower stamp to give it an added layer of color. I wouldn't have thought to do that. ~Beth
