MDSM12 Let's use a new tool!

Welcome back to MDS Monday... It's Holly here and I'm your host this week. This is such a fun sketch for a Page. If you are using MDS2 you may have noticed one of the new features is a Brush Tool.. This is a great way to add lines and other shapes that may not be available in a stamp or an element.. So, this week use the sketch below and add a touch of the Brush Tool to your page as well.

MDS Monday Picks for Challenge #11

Wow, what a great bunch of pages this past challenge - we loved seeing all your favourite kits! It's time to announce this week's winners:

The MDS Monday Master is...

What a great page, Jonia - We love all the sweet little embellishments and your accented colour photo. Congratulations on being the MDS Master this week! ~Tara

And the honourable mentions...

The kit works perfectly with the pictures and brings an instant smile. ~Beth

We love how the torn edges on the right side glisten as though they are wet - it's such a cool effect - even if it was a "lucky touch".  She also has a perfect amount of drop shadow because her photos really look like they are only being held onto the page with the little bit of tape. ~Joan

Be sure to come back tomorrow for a fabulous sketch from Holly!

MDSM11 It's Time for a 1 Kit Trick!!

It's time to dig into your kits!

Hi everyone, Tara here as your hostess this week and I'm giving you a simple sketch, but hoping that you can embellish it like crazy! If you're up for the challenge, we'd love to see you create a page primarily made up of content from 1 kit! It's time to show off all those hidden embellishments and fun stamps from your favourite digital kit.

MDS Monday Picks for Challenge #10

What an awesome collection of spreads this week. Thanks to everyone who participated in our double spread challenge... it was very difficult to decide on a MDS Monday Master

Joan's Pick: Wendy B

The page was so full of fun and action and I love the portion of the picture that Wendy highlighted with the frame.

Heidi's Pick: Crystal Frederick @ Craft Therapy with Crystal

Wow, these entries are getting so good! I have several I wanted to choose. I'm choosing Crystal's page - I just love the kit and color combo she chose. She did a great job pulling the colors from the photos into her layout.

Tara's Pick: Carolyn @ Carolyn's Paper Fantasties

I love the feel of Carolyn's page with the lovely colours and textures she's used. The accent frame is so well placed, too. Congratulations, Carolyn!

Beth's Pick: Cori @ My Creative Chat

I love that Cori's pages tell us about a fun family tradition. The naughty elf drawing mustaches on the photos is just too funny!

Rochelle's Pick: Julie @ See Julie Stamp
I like that she focused on the pictures and left the page simple. And her homemade baseball's are a perfect touch!

Let's not forget the prize!
The winner of the $9.99 Digital Download is....
#11 - Amber M!

Congratulations to all! Don't forget to grab your badge and display it on your blog :)

Join us back here tomorrow for a fun sketch (with a twist!) from Tara.
