I love Julie's tribute to her daughter's 17th birthday. The off-set grouped photo boxes are a beautiful way to use this technique. The different strips of paper and ribbon really set off the sweet nature of this page. Congratulations Julie on being an MDS Monday Master this week!

MDS3 it's a Technique Challenge.

Hello, everyone! Tara here as hostess for our third challenge. We're so excited to see everyone playing with us and look forward to seeing what you create for this challenge! This week, the design team decided to do something a little different.

We chose one technique that we thought suited the sketch well and all incorporated this technique into our project! We photo filled grouped boxes! If you want to give it a try too, just follow the link to watch a great video on how it's done.

It was hard to select a Master.  There were lots of fabulous entries. However, in the end I pick Diane at MyDiane Designs.  I loved a number of her page elements:  the colour/papers she chose, the scallop punch tucked along the edge, using the Dahlia embellishments and especially how she created the "label" for her journaling.  On top of that,  she turned the sketch into a double spread to meet her needs.

Hi Everyone - It's Joan here, hosting our second challenge at MDS Monday. Right off the bat, I would like to thank everyone who participated in Challenge #1. All of us on the design team were thrilled to have so many of you join in the fun! I personally enjoyed looking through all of the entries and I'm pretty sure the other members of the team did too.

So - on to Challenge Sketch #2 and a bit of inspiration from the Design Team. Remember, you have until December 14 to post your creation for us to see. Welcome back to MDS Monday... What a great turnout for our first Challenge! Heidi has picked her MDS Master and the rest of the team have chosen their picks as well. Before we get to that though we'd like to answer a question that came up with the challenge.

Do you need to have a Blog to play along? No, you can upload you projects to any online photo gallery and then just provided a link to your project so we can stop by and see it. My Digital Studio.net  has an online gallery and we created an album on our Facebook Page for you as well.
